American rapper; Cardi B, has come out to address the news that is fast growing on social media about the fact that she once drugged and robbed men back in the days when she used to be a stipper.

The wife of fellow US rapper; Offset and mother of a beautiful daughter; Kulture, took to her Instagram page to give her remarks on the trending news.

“I’m a part of a hip-hop culture where you can talk about where you come from, talk about the wrong things you had to do to get where you are, There are rappers that glorify murder violence drugs and robbing. Crimes they feel they had to do to survive. I never glorified the things I brought up in that live I never even put those things in my music because I’m not proud of it and feel a responsibility not to glorify it,” she wrote.

She captioned the post with words that clearly shows that she is becoming a better person and not that person she used to be. She wrote; ” All I can do now is be a better me for myself my family and my future.”

Cardi B’s latest remarks has sprung up as a result of a past video she did, where she revealed she used to drug men in order to cart away with the precious belongings. She said in the video; “I had to go strip, I had to go, ‘Oh yeah, you want to f*ck me? Yeah, yeah, yeah, let’s go back to this hotel,’ and I drugged n***as up, and I robbed them. That’s what I used to do.”

It now seems this comment has come to hunt her as the issue has been trending on social media where some are saying she should be put in the league of R.Kelly and Bill Cosby, men who are synonymous with sexual harassment and assault.
