Trust Cardi B to set the record straight.

The singer, whose Tuesday night concert in Indianapolis was canceled at the last minute due to an unexplained threat, was busy Wednesday morning on Twitter, updating her followers and shutting down speculation over the incident.

A Twitter user named Marcus was apparently the start of the speculation, tweeting a screenshot of a conversation with an unnamed woman, who cited “an inside source” that claimed Cardi was “[too] drunk to perform.”

Cardi soon noticed his allegations and began responding with her own timeline of events. (She has since deleted the tweets.)

“This was me at 4:26pm in the venue rehearsing,” she wrote in one tweet.

“This was at 5:36pm I wonder around what time I got drunk ?lols,” she captioned another image.

Eventually, the singer stopped tweeting and deleted the argument, leaving only a retweet of the venue’s statement from the promoter: “Due to a security threat and safety concerns at this evening’s show, management has advised that this show be postponed. These threats are currently under investigation.”

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s official statement on the cancellation remains posted on their Twitter.

“This evening, there was a scheduled concert at Bankers Life. We were notified of an unverified threat to the artist and the artist canceled this evening’s concert – there is no immediate threat to public safety, this is not an active incident. Ongoing investigation,” the statement read.

The concert has been rescheduled for September 11, and all original tickets will be honored.
