The residents of Capeside stick together.

Mary-Margaret Humes and John Wesley Shipp, who played James Van Der Beek‘s parents on “Dawson’s Creek,” were spotted cheering on Van Der Beek while he competed on “Dancing with the Stars” Monday night.

“So proud of this one right here!!!” Humes, 65,captioned a photo of the trio. “Such an awesome night in the ballroom @dancingabc with @vanderjamesThis is the first picture of the three of us together in 18 years!!! #dawsoncreek #dwts #foreverfriends #family is everything!!!” Van Der Beek, 42, posted an Instagram story of the same photo, writing, “This reunion made me SOOOOOOO happy.”

The actor’s wife, Kimberly Brook, was also in attendance with their five children: Olivia, 9, Joshua, 7, Annabel, 5, Emilia, 3, and Gwendolyn,1. The couple are expecting their sixth child.

Monday night was Disney night on the ABC dance competition series, and ended with no eliminations.
