Drake splashes out on Nike ‘Jesus shoes’ filled with holy water

Even Drake‘s soles have got soul.
The “Hotline Bling” rapper, 33, took to his Instagram Stories early Friday morning to show off his splashy new sneakers: Nike Air Max 97 “Jesus Shoes” filled with holy water from the River Jordan and scented with frankincense.
Created by Brooklyn-based company MSCHF, the sneakers — which bring a whole new meaning to the phrase “walking on water” — also feature gold crucifixes suspended from the laces, while the bold red insoles nod to the Pope’s traditional footwear.
Originally priced at $1,425 per pair (perhaps as a nod to the Matthew 14:25 inscription on the toe box), the kicks sold out in minutes and have fetched as much as $4,000 on the resale market.
Not bad for a product intended to troll “collab culture,” as MSCHF’s Daniel Greenberg told The Post in October — but when you’re the 6 God, only the godliest kicks will do.
