Jason Biggs has a plan to combat getting sick this year.
“As much as I take precautions when cold and flu season approaches, as much as I like to think that I really strengthen my immune system, I always end up getting sick. And especially with two kids now who are in school, like, forget it,” the actor told Page Six on Tuesday while promoting Mucinex’s newest product, Mucinex Nightshift. “There’s only so much you can do to stave that off.”
Biggs, 41, shares two sons, Sid, 5, and Lazlo, 2, with his wife, Jenny Mollen, 40.
“I may just have to, like, wrap them in like, bubble wrap or something or some sort of like cone of — a germ cone so that I don’t have to actually touch them or interact with them in a very sort of intimate way,” he joked. “I think they’d end up in therapy sooner than I ever anticipated if I were to do that to them.”
Realistically though, he’ll stick to cold medicine, which he was on as he told us: “I really don’t have time to get sick. It’s like, I’m gonna get sick. I can’t. But I can’t stop my world. I used to be able to, like, sleep in and spend all day in bed and watch DVDs and not worry about stuff. And I don’t have that luxury anymore. I got to get up and go.”
Maybe he should kick off flu season by not picking his nose.
