Idina Menzel and Martin Scorsese React to Eminem’s Surprise Oscars’ Performance of ‘Lose Yourself’

The Oscars brought out Eminem for a surprise performance of “Lose Yourself”. The song won an Oscar in 2003 for Best Original Song in the movie 8 Mile. Now, for some reason, probably to be hip, the Oscars brought out him out 17 years after he won. Note: Eminem never showed up to the 2003 ceremony.

Can’t lie, this song is still amazing. Really good for workouts.
Idina Menzel of Frozen and the cantankerous Martin Scorsese thought different.
Menzel looked, confused?
Biggest surprise this evening was seeing Idina Menzel experiencing ‘Lose Yourself’ for the first time. What a moment. #Oscars #Oscars2020 #Eminem pic.twitter.com/ZEQoecds4y

Scorsese needed a nap. I’m with Scorsese on this one. The show is pretty boring.
