50 Cent Clarifies That He Doesn’t Like Donald Trump
Published on:
Bear in mind, this is an old picture of 50 Cent and President Donald Trump, taken eight months before he became President in 2016. But that picture can sort of serve as the ultimate proof of 50’s flip-flopping ability. First, he takes a smiling picture with Trump, and captions it: “Me and my president maybe.” Then a year later, 50 claims he had turned down a $500,000 check for a Trump campaign appearance, because it was, “not good money.”
And just like the first time Trump ran, 50 Cent came out in support of Trump, in one of the stupidest ways possible, by claiming he’d be voting for Trump because Joe Biden was going to tax too much of his money. Then 50’s ex Chelsea Handler got involved as the unofficial voice of reason, and what do you know, 50 is once again walking back his support of Trump.
Last week, 50 had people answering, “Hate it” to the option of hate it or love it, when he started urging other rich people to vote Trump next week if they wanted to hang on to as much money as possible. Chelsea tweeted that 50’s push for Trump had officially knocked him off the top spot of her favorite ex-boyfriends list. She also reminded him of the Black Lives Matter movement, and that if he was so worried about paying taxes, she’d pay them for him. He responded by saying that he loved her and that he didn’t want Trump and Biden to get between them.
Maybe 50 came to his senses and realized that if he ever wanted another shot at her Pikachu, he better reconsider which circle he fills in on November 3rd. On Friday, Chelsea appeared on The Tonight Show and told Jimmy Fallon all about her situation with 50. She explained that Joe Biden’s plan isn’t to turn him into 20 Cent with a 62% tax on the rich (it’s more complicated than that, like a 12.4% Social Security payroll tax for incomes over $400,000). She also called out 50 Cent for using his influence as a Black man to encourage his Twitter followers to vote for the Very Fine People On Both Sides guy. 50 got around to watching Chelsea’s interview, and here’s what he wants everyone to know. He implies his initial comments were taken out of context, and that he never liked Donald Trump.
👀a what, 😳another spin 💫Fu*k Donald Trump, I never liked him. 🤨for all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL @chelseahandler @jimmyfallon pic.twitter.com/Tya6EqDBFt

That accusation about Trump having his friend killed is likely confusing upon first read. But thankfully, I once dated a guy who was really into Scarface, so I know that is a quote from Tony Montana, talking about F. Murray Abraham’s character Omar. Omar was an FBI informant.
50 also didn’t say that he’s voting for Joe Biden, which had Chelsea concerned enough to hop on Twitter and ask him to give her a call (because she doesn’t have his phone number anymore).
Honey- does this tweet me we can count on a vote for you for @JoeBiden ?
I’m happy to discuss this with you privately. My phone number is still the same. Your’s isn’t. I’ve tried calling you.— Chelsea Handler (@chelseahandler) October 25, 2020
50 hasn’t responded to Chelsea publicly. Maybe he texted her back or gave her a call. And who knows how he’ll be voting next week. But since he’s so into Scarface, Chelsea probably shouldn’t be surprised if he messages her saying that he’ll absolutely vote for Joe Biden if she agrees to come over to his house to watch Scarface, wink wink. Although it might get weird when 50 greets her at the door, catches a stoned twinkle in her eye and a whiff of vodka on her breath, and thanks her for fulfilling his Elvira fantasy. To which a confused Chelsea will reply, “Wait, who? Dressed up as what now?”
